An entrance, whether it’s to a house, to a business or to an institution is what gives the first impression to the visitor. An entrance from the perspective of Building Art is an ensemble of elements that work in unison to create a complete composition. Those elements likely include a door surround, may include some cladding, moldings perhaps even columns and maybe even other pieces all working together to achieve a desired look.
